The Good Ai: Leading the AI hype with an epic Super Bowl moment

One of the defining moments of 2023 was the airing of the world's first enterprise Ai Super Bowl commercial, titled "The Good Ai." The commercial featured 42 (yes, 42!) Ai references of past and present, paying homage to the most pivotal moments in Ai history. This not only captured attention but also ignited a wave of interest in the possibilities of Ai in enterprise communication—Ai is, after all, what powers the future of work.

Crossed $200M in ARR, a testament to our strength as a business

We crossed $200M in annual recurring revenue (ARR), a milestone attributed largely to our five-plus years of investment in Ai. We firmly believe that Ai's impact on various industries will surpass even the transformative influence of the world wide web and software. The introduction of ChatGPT has rapidly reshaped the landscape of enterprise communication, generating major interest in integrating Ai within the workplace.

As the world looked to leverage foundational LLM models, such as ChatGPT-3, we quickly realized the opportunity and need for purpose built models. Existing solutions faced limitations in accessibility, scalability, and accuracy. Luckily, we had the team in place and expertise necessary to build something different.

Forbes reviews submissions from thousands of cloud companies each year and evaluates them on four factors: market leadership, estimated valuation, operating metrics, and people & culture. Dialpad's recognition in the Cloud 100 amid the Ai era underscores our integral role in the Ai market and dedication to propelling responsible Ai advancements.

Setting the pace of Ai innovation with the 12 Months of Ai

In April, we announced Dialpad’s “12 Months of Ai”, promising to release new Ai-powered features designed to revolutionize your customer communications every month in Dialpad’s customer intelligence platform. And we delivered, starting with the launch of Ai Recap and including Ai Scorecards, Ai Playbooks, Ai Coaching Hub, and of course, DialpadGPT. To support this initiative, we committed $50M to the research and development of Ai.

Google’s Cloud Partner of the Year and other industry recognition

Dialpad clinched a total of 12 prestigious Channel awards in 2023, reflecting our commitment to excellence in the realm of unified communications. Among the notable accolades, Dialpad stood out as the Google Cloud Partner of the Year in the Technology category, acknowledged for our adept use of a winning combination of technologies that deliver innovative solutions and foster generative Ai adoption.

The recognition continued with Sandler Partners naming us the Top CCaaS Provider (coupled with an Operational Excellence award), Telarus naming Dialpad the Best Overall Supplier, and Avant acknowledging us for the Top UCaaS NPS Score.

Dialpad also received an impressive 39 awards from respected platforms like G2, TrustRadius, and CRN. We’re honored.

Nearing 6 billion minutes of transcribed conversations

Dialpad’s speech recognition model has now been trained on over 5 billion minutes of voice and message data (and still counting). It’s thanks to this model that Dialpad Ai can transcribe your meetings in real-time, track keywords that come up in conversations, detect customer sentiment, and more.
