We’re not ready to give up our desk phones just yet, is your technology compatible?

Absolutely. We’re compatible with the most popular desk phone models including Shoretel, ObiHai and Polycom, with even more options for larger businesses over on our Enterprise plan. To connect your Dialpad license to the desk phone IP address, simply enter the four digit code provided to you at time of purchase and you’ll be up and running in a few seconds.

Can you do a hybrid deployment for our younger employees who want to use their own devices?

Sure can, in fact we do this all the time. You’ll follow the same steps as above to connect desk phone users to your Dialpad license, and then have your personal device users simply download the Dialpad app from the iTunes or Google Play Store.

What other applications do you integrate with?

We pride ourselves on being built for the way people work, which includes being able to integrate with the business tools you already know and love. From Office 365 and G Suite, Salesforce and Zendesk, our integrations make it easy to get work done seamlessly.

Can you give more detail on your security?

Of course. We know how important security is to your business, so we’re happy to get into the nitty gritty. Every communication transmitted over Dialpad is encrypted both at rest and in motion, then stored and obfuscated in Google cloud making it completely inaccessible. Additionally, since we are a Google Cloud Platform application, it is worth noting that Google’s security, including their [CR2] ISO 27001 certification SSAE16 / ISAE 3402 Type II (SOC 2 and SOC 3) audit completions, applies to us as well.

What is international calling like?

Admins can enable international calling and add international call credits at any time from within the admin console. From there you can follow these simple steps on our Help Center guide to start making calls around the world. Please note that while landline calls are included in our fees, mobile callers not using wifi should be aware of any additional charges from their individual carriers.
